He was a very faithful travel companion, one of those that everyone would like and he accompanied us in all the stages, first of all Lagos. Atlantic cliffs and beaches, stretched out without borders hypnotize you.
Never like this time the challenge fits perfectly with our philosophy and completes it! The objective it was to take inspiration combining the use of natural materials and it’s structures to the forms of nature to create a unique wooden surfboard, with a particular attention on its design.

This custom egg surfboard is the latest custom wooden surfboard we made in 2017, suitable in a big variety of waves from knee to head height. Inspired by the outline of our Macaco this board is made out of pauwlonia with poplar frame inside.
We started to create wooden surfboards for the desire and the curiosity to experiment our work in the water. The research of materials, the study of shape and the contaminations of surf culture have propelled us to create a design product that can be contextualised in various fields.
